Here's the unboxing, review and specs of the Galaxy A50 Samsung Galaxy A50 price in India: Galaxy A50 (4 GB RAM, 64 GB): INR 19,990 Galaxy A50 (6 GB RAM, 64 GB): INR 22,990 Samsung Galaxy A50 Specs: OS: Android 9 Oreo with Samsung One UI interface Processor: Samsung Exynos 9610 Octa-core 2.3 GHz Dual SIM: Yes Dual VoLTE: Yes External memory: Yes, microSD up to 512 GB RAM: 4 GB/ 6 GB Memory: 64 GB Camera: 25MP AF (F1.7) + 5MP depth sensor (F2.2) + 8MP ultra wide (F2.2) Video: 1080p and 720p Front camera: 25 MP F2.0 Battery: 4,000 non-removable Display: 6.4 inches, Super AMOLED Screen resolution: 1080 x 2340 pixels Bluetooth: Yes Fingerprint: Yes, in-display Body design: Unibody, plastic back Charging port: Type C, Fast charging enabled Bixby: Yes Samsung Pay: Yes (samsung pay mini) Water and dust resistant: Yes, IP 68 certified Headphone jack: Yes Face Unlock: Yes Galaxy A50 display The front is just a notch and all display. You get a nice massive 6.4 super AMOLED FHD+ display which is as awesome as it can get at this price point. 6.4 inch ensures you get a nice big immersive screen so watching movies or playing games is going to be a lot of fun. The AMOLED part takes care of delivering saturated, high contrast and vivid display - so you get nice blacks and the colors popping. The FHD+ screen resolution just means really sharp display quality - so all your games play in full HD quality and you get extreme details while watching videos or playing games. The screen is also super bright - so if you are outdoors alot in the sun - you can easily see the display without any issues or squinting. And it does have adaptive brightness so it will adjust the brightness of the display accordingly. Galaxy A50 camera The three cameras at the are: 25MP AF (F1.7) - for primary pictures and low light photography 5MP Depth Sensor (F2.2) 8MP Ultrawide (F2.2) The two cameras in the front: 10 MP dual pixel lens with auto focus and capability to shoot 4K (UHD) videos Depth sensor Camera Modes: Slow motion, hyperlapse, panorama, pro (manual), auto, live focus (portrait) Overall - I think the Galaxy A50 is a good looking phone (i.e. if you do like the backpanel) with ample focus on camera and its capabilities. The display is obviously amazing with its big screen, AMOLED bursting of colors and a really significant screen to body ratio. The phone undoubtedly feels good in hand. But - the performance of the phone is something that everyone might not be super happy with. No issues with the battery, but the phone does not feel as snappy. But again, you have to consider the price point and other features that have been paid attention to deliver an overall good experience - like the camera, bixby AI, beautiful screen and even being water and dust resistant. Would I consider this phone - definitely over the Galaxy On and the Galaxy J series or even some of the Motorola phones in this price range.
